Hi there! Honey gave me your info and I'm wondering about your bags... Can you customize them in any way? Do you have a gallery of fabric options or are there pre-chosen combos? I couldn't tell from the pics, but do the bow-tuck bags have bottle pockets on the outsides? :) Thanks for letting me bombard you with questions! :)

ReplyDeleteHey! :) Sorry it's taken me so long to check your blog, but I finally found a minute. :) So, I'm wanting to get a large bowtuck bag (I think) but I think I might want 2 bottle pockets at the ends on the outside (with elastic) if that's a possibility, and I'm wondering what the dimensions are for the large size LxWxH. AND :) I'm wondering if the inside pockets are all the same size? Or if it depends each time... :) AND is there a place you order fabrics from? Or would you want me to special order some fabric from etsy.com & have it sent to you to sew the bag? if so, would the price of the bag change?

ReplyDeleteWe can do any fabric you want. If you find something on etsy or another website it would be best to email us the product number and we will order the amount that is needed. Also, we can put pockets on the sides of the bowtuck bag, but would you still want the ties on the side of the bag? The measurements (approx) 15" long (front side), 12" tall (bottom of bag to top), 5" wide (side of bag). As for the inside pockets we can make those any size you want. We can do as many as you want, making each pocket smaller, or fewer pockets resulting in them being bigger. I hope this answers your questions and hope to hear back from you soon.

ReplyDeleteWould it totally throw you off for your pattern if I wanted it to be 6" wide? If so, it's not a big deal at all, but I was just wondering... Also, yes, I would like pockets on the outside and I'd still like the ties. (I really like the cinched look of the bowtuck bag. :) As for the inside pockets... I think as long as one of them is long enough that I can fit my checkbook inside, then they should be fine. :) maybe even make a few really slim pockets for pens? That would be AWESOME! So, I'll look for fabric and let you know. It might have to be after the new year though, as the holidays tend to empty our bank account rather quickly. ;)

Hey guys! :) Sorry it's taken me so long. I'm pretty picky, so I wanted to find a fabric that was JUST right. :) So, the fabric that I like, is by Joel Dewberry, and it's the deer valley collection. You can see the stuff right here:

Sorry that's such a huge link, but it's a good place to view all the fabrics. So, from that picture, the fabrics that I'm wanting are
1) Lodge Lattice in Azure -- for the bottom of the bag and top part of the pocket
2) Lodge Lattice in Terra Cotta -- for the main part of the pocket and inside pockets
3) Weave Stripe -- for the main body of the bag
I don't really know what color would look best for the handles, so you can use whatever one of those that you think looks best. :) And as far as the inside of the bag goes, I dont' care either. Maybe just a cream-colored solid?
I hope that all makes sense, and I guess I should also mention that I don't need the end pockets on the outside anymore. :) But Honey said I should ask about getting you guys to put in a D-ring key holder too. Is that a possibility? Just let me know, and I'll get you paid. :) Thanks gals!!!
I just had to let you all know that I got the bag today and I LOVE IT!!! :) It's so pretty and just what I wanted! I'm positive I'll be getting another some day. :) Maybe now that I'm pregnant again, I'll need 2! ;) Thanks so much ladies!
